GLOBAL COALITION FOR THE PRESERVATION OF FOOD VALUE
A global platform bringing together governments, companies, international organizations and civil society to preserve the full value of food across food systems.
Every year, enormous amounts of food are lost while millions of people face food insecurity. This is not only a logistical problem. It is a failure in how food systems manage value.
The Global Coalition was created to transform this reality by coordinating actors, technology and policy around a shared mission: preserving food value before it is destroyed.
Food Value Is Being Lost Every Day
Across the world, food systems lose enormous amounts of value before food reaches its highest human purpose.
When food is lost or wasted, societies do not only lose calories. They lose the economic, nutritional, environmental and social value embedded in that food.

Economic resources are wasted

Nutritional potential disappears

Environmental pressure increases

Territorial resilience weakens

Opportunities for social impact are lost
The challenge is not only reducing waste. It is preserving the full value of food.
Strategic Leadership and Global Collaboration

The coalition is promoted within the global leadership platform of the G100 Zero Hunger Mission, which provides international visibility, strategic alignment and high-level institutional articulation.
Through this leadership, the initiative connects operational action on the ground with a global agenda focused on accelerating solutions for food security and sustainable food systems.
From Food Systems to Food Impact
The coalition is grounded in the transition toward a Food Impact Economy, where the success of food systems is measured not only by production and trade, but by the real impact they generate for society.
Its conceptual foundation is the Amber Economy, which recognizes food as a strategic asset that generates multiple forms of value:

From this perspective, food loss and waste represent the destruction of value that societies cannot afford.
Technology That Enables Coordination
A central component of the coalition is The HungreeApp, the digital infrastructure that enables coordination across actors and territories.
Through this platform, organizations can:
Register food surpluses
Connect supply with demand
Geolocate operations
Validate deliveries
Maintain traceability
Generate real-time analytics
This digital foundation transforms collaboration into measurable action.

A Multi-Level Model
The coalition operates through a coordinated architecture connecting global leadership, digital infrastructure and territorial implementation.
